We will be visiting WDW from 3/15-3/18 for a wedding. We are only visiting the Magic Kingdom on 3/15 and 3/16. Any idea how the crowds will be? The wedding is on 3/17, so we won't do parks that day and we leave early on 3/18.

Thanks for any advice!

You should be fine. No one gets the day off or anything. It's just an excuse to wear green and drink beer.

The start of Spring Break crowds will be in the parks. Not as bad as Easter but still busy. Use fast passes and enjoy the parks.

Thanks for your replies! At least the crowds will be less than when we go at the end of June.

I was at Epcot this past St. Patrick's Day (Friday, March 17, 2006) and the park was packed, especially during the evening extra magic hours.

That's major Spring Break time for the state of TX (we'll be there then!). My guess is that it will be just as crowded as the end of June, but the weather will be much nicer! Have fun!

Agreed. I worked in Disney-MGM Studios from Jan to May in 2004 and this time frame was the busiest I've ever seen it (though I've never been during the winter holidays or summer months). Pretty big spring break crowds. If you've got a good touring plan and take advantage of FastPass, you should be able to swing it without too much frustration.

I went that week twice during college (spring break). There were a lot of college students so the parks tended to be busy at night. Get to the parks early in the morning to beat the crowd.

ugh! I guess it will be busier than I hoped. We will be hitting the MK when it opens,so that should help. We'll be back for our real vacation at then end of June. I know that one will be crowded! The dates of that trip was not my choice, be we're staying with friends for free so I can't complain.

Thanks again for all your repiles! ;)
