How's May?

Thinking it's hot but not too deadly yet (we went this year in July).

It's after Spring Break but before most kids get out of school.

I really want to be there for the 45th anniversary year but next Fall is looking less do-able for me.

What do you think?

We went the first week of May this year and really liked it. Our previous 2 trips were in late September and early October. The temperatures were similar, but we had less rain on our May trip. We liked the Flower and Garden thing at Epcot. I want to go in May on our next trip.

We've been in May twice and August once. Loved May! The weather was great, a few afternoon showers but nothing like the monsoon we had in August. The crowds were slightly less and Flower and Garden was really neat.

I think May has the best weather of the entire year! It's mildly hot, but not humid and it doesn't rain as much as it does earlier in the spring or later in the summer.

May is my favorite. Have not seen a drop of rain in 3 May trips and the weather is hot but not H O T. It is pleasant weather.

Been in May twice. Loved it both times. The earlier in the month you go, the less humid the weather is. First time was 4-11. Every day was sunny and bright. The afternoons got a bit hot, but with the low humidity, it was more than manageable. Second time was 20-27. Had a few periods of rain, but overall it was beautiful weather, although noticeably more humid. Of course being there for Star Wars Weekends made it that much better, but that's no more (and a story for another message board ).

Overall, I think May is the best time to go- I'll let you know how it compares to October in a month or so- but keep in mind the closer to June, the more humid and the more rainy afternoons you will get.

May is my absolute favourite perfect weather. Hot enough to swim and wear summer clothing (Canadians lol), but the humidity isn't out in all its glory yet. We also had one small rain storm in 12 days. Add the flower and garden festival, and well it's just not to be beaten. Love May and can't wait to go back again may 2017 finally!
