Hello,
While watching fireworks tonight (while listening to my Illuminations CD) my friend and I were wondering what it was like in the parks tonight....
She thinks there were special fireworks to celebrate our Independence Day.
Was there anything different commemorating our national holiday?

Well, yes there was.
These special fireworks and such have been discussed and re-discussed on countless threads for months here. :thumbsup2

Forgive me, but this is akin to asking (on the Oct. 31 of this year) if Disney did anything "special" to celebrate Disneyland's 50th Anniversary at any of the parks.

Where have you BEEN?

:goodvibes

It's a tradition on July 4th to see how many people they can pack into the parks before it explodes. We went one time several years ago and there were soooo many people at the MK we had to take turns breathing. Never, never again on July 4th...smjj

We were at AK and Epcot yesterday. The fireworks at Epcot were awesome last night.

We went on the 4th 3 years ago to MK and I was surprised on how it wasn't busy at all.

No the 4th of July....we walked on rides and then watched the fireworks with no problem at the last minute. I was shocked as I've been a passholder for the last 12 years and that was a last minute drive to Orlanda the day of. (only live an hour away).
