My DGDs love chicken tenders and Chicken Guy seems perfect for them. How is it? And I hear that it gets pretty busy. Is there a time of day that's not as busy?

My BFF and I went there in October and thought it was really good, she always gets chicken tenders when we go out to eat. The line was pretty long but it moved quickly.

We always get there at opening, 11 am. The two piece kids meal works for us. One less tender and smaller drink than the adult meal. Drinks are free refills.

It’s quality and juicy chicken, but you definitely need the sauce for the tenders. They are really bland without it, imo. The fries are super-good. I judge a restaurant by fries. If the fries are bad; the restaurant is bad 🙃.

We've gone twice and it has upset our stomachs both times, so I think we are done with Chicken Guy. It's tasty though!

The chicken strips are flavorless. They came out hot and fresh, but if you didn't use the dipping sauce, it was completely devoid of flavor. The ones that are on the kid's menus at the counter service restaurants are better. And they limit how many sauces that you can get now.

Not terrible, but not worth the long wait. It's just fast food chicken strips you could get at a drive through anywhere in the US, but with lots of different sauce choices. I prefer Slim Chicken at home. I don't have to stand in a 45 minute line at home. I really cannot do that long wait again when I can just walk across the way and get put on the wait list for a pizza at Wolfgang Puck.

I love Chicken Guy, especially all the different dipping sauces. Join the club and you get two extra sauces free with each order. Get there early though because it gets very busy.

My son and I ate there a couple years ago and we thought it was way overrated. Everything just seemed tasteless. Chicken was bland, fries were bland, mac n cheese had no seasoning. Long, LONG lines, rude cashiers, hard to find seating and it just seemed dirty inside and on the patio. Trash everywhere and bins over flowing. This place is a no for me.

Don't be scared by the line - it moved quickly. I went a month ago for the first time. The 3 strip meal is plenty! I was surprised how much seating they had indoors. Most folks were stopping at the soda machines close to the counters, but if you walk back and go around the corner there are more machines back there. Way less hectic.

The mac and cheese was terrible. It looked so good!

Loved it my first time there two years ago. Went there last month and I was highly disappointed. The chicken was very greasy and the fries were just ok. The food made my mom and sister sick but somehow I was safe.

The tenders are fine, not much different than what we used to have at Six Flags when I worked there. But I still like going there because the sauces are great, drinks have free refills, and the mac n cheese is amazing.

I’m surprised at the more negative opinions. What are we comparing it with? The bar only goes so high in the universe of fast food chicken tenders and I would argue Chicken Guy is near the top. I like it better than Raising Cane for example while Chick-fil-A nuggets and sauces give them a run for their money.

That being said no one should be waiting 45 minutes for fast food tenders. I’d probably lose my patience at about 10 minutes and go somewhere else.
