How's ASMu holding up?

We're making a quick day trip to MK at the end of the month, and we want to stay onsite for one night as cheap as we can. ASMu is the only thing available in the value resorts. I stayed there once 10 years ago and it was all right. How has it held up? Is it still in good shape? I always try and book newer hotels when we travel, but Pop is booked. I'd love to hear from anyone who has stayed there recently about the condition of the resort.

PS- are there any special activities for kids at the values? My kids had a blast at AKL making cookies during our last stay!
