We were expecting something that would resemble the apocalypse but I was downtown and it was nothing. It got very dark and was a little windy but the weatherman was way off, at least for up by the lake.
The wind sure is howing tonight and nerve wracking.
Another 24 hours of high winds forecasted thru tomorrow.
Anyone else in the Midwest tired of this storm already?

We are in Roch also!! The wind has been horrible today. Neighbors lost their garbage cans set out for collection. Our BBQ grill was blown over on our deck and smashed a table. When dh got home from work, he brought everything inside.

Here we had a tornado warning in the mid-morning (radar detected three possible funnel clouds) with lots of wind and rain.
I also heard on the radio this morning that yesterday in Michigan we set the US record for the lowest land-based barometric pressure reading.
.Well, it is finally light enough out to see outside-don't see any damage on the neighbors' houses but I am still in my jammies and haven't checked things out carefully. What I DID notice was this WHITE stuff flying around.
