Thats weird that the TST (person letting the line into the house) wouldn't let your guide in the first time. I have seen tons of tour guides walk through the house.

Whoa, those are some pretty insane lines. If ShieKra went all the way back to Claw Island, that means that all the queue, and extra queue was used. I wonder what the wait time was, yikes!

The tour was definitely the way to go that night.

I know this is not the appropriate thread to ask this, but since most of you (I assume) have been to Busch Gardens I wanted to ask if there is an Express Pass type system for the rides at BG? How about during HOS?

tbird- I was told that they do for HOS but that those guests do not receive that much respect from attendants.

Passengers stuck on Busch Gardens roller coaster

Tampa, Florida - Passengers riding the Sheikra roller coaster at Busch Gardens were stuck at the horizonal platform, just before the drop.

Twenty-four passengers were stranded on the ride for about an hour on Saturday, high above the theme park.

A rescue trolley traveled up to the top and brought the passengers down safely one row at a time.

There were no injuries.

After 40 minutes of test runs, the ride was deemed safe again for passengers.

A Busch Gardens spokesman says he knows it was an inconvenience to the park patrons, but safety is the number one priority of the park.

A computer detected an error in Sheikra's air compressor, causing the car to stop at the highest part of the ride.

The funny thing about that MF is that I arrived at BG while it was down with the intention of meeting people from my house early to ride Shiekra. And, we ended up being on the second car full of people after it reopened.

As for the Express thing, BGT does not have a system during the day, but does have a booklet of passes for HOS. From what I have heard, the system isn't all that great, and unless you're going on a Saturday, you most likely won't need to bother with these booklets.
