I saw that this morning and forgot to post it. He will be missed.

Oh, I hadn't heard. I loved those old musicals. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was always one of my favorites.

Showboat was one of my favorite musicals. And I remember him on "Dallas" as well . . .

He also played Clayton Farlow on 'Dallas' for a number of years as Miss Ellie's second husband. He was a great talent. He died the very day the reunion show aired.

Such a beautiful voice. He's always been one of my "heartthrobs".

They said he was 85 years old.

Then it said he was 66 when he joined Dallas, which would of been 1980-1981.

Somehow the years are not adding up right.

Oh, that is heartbreaking! I LOVE Howard Keel, what a voice he had!

It's so odd because he was my grandmother's favorite and she passed away last week...

Heard it on the news. My favorites are Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Calamity Jane. Great voice from the era of movie musicals.
