We are booked for a 7-night land/sea (3-night DCL) for Halloween Week '05.

Just found out I am pregnant. Now what to do? The little one will be 4-months old then...too young? We have never cruised before.

Also, we are booked in a Cat. 6 (DH, DS- age 5 and myself + new little one). Is it big enough for a crib or should we upgrade to a slightly bigger room?

Thanks for your help.

Kim

We put our pack in play in front of the sliding door and took it down during the day, still room to move around but if plan on spending a lot of time in the room it could be a hassel.

I don't have an answer for you but wanted to offer a "congratulations" and bump this up to the top so someone else could help!

We sailed with an 8 month old in a category 11. We had no problem with room for the pack N play so I assume a category 6 would be fine. Our room steward took it down and set it up for us every day.

I'd go for the bigger stateroom myself. We cruised in a Cat 6 with DD who was 4 at the time and had plenty of room. I now have DD5 and DS 18 months and want to be able to leave up the pack-n-play all the time so we can have him do naps really easily without the logistics of putting it up and down, even if the steward does help. The Cat 4 has room beside the couch that accommodates the pack-n-play up all of the time if you want it that way. With a 4 month old he/she may be using it more frequently and babies that age seem to end up with their own suitcase of "supplies"! I'd go for it - and I think a cruise for that age is a great way to go!
