How would you split the crowds?

This is totally just for fun and discussion - also I’m curious haha 😛

How would you split the crowd (in percentage) at the parks on any random day. I think generally speaking, most people fall into one of these three categories:

1. Disney newbies - first timers, or went as a kid in the 80s but nothing more. I feel like this category could even be broken down into to subs - newbies who did zero research and those who did a ton!

2. Mid market visitors - they go once a year, or every second year. Keeps up to date with what’s new etc.

3. Hardcore Disney goers - APs, locals, influencers etc. They go several times a year, heck maybe several times a month!

I think the 2 category probably has a higher percentage than the others but I don’t know enough yet to be sure..

Thought?! :)

Judging by the number of people at the AP entry tap styles I'd say category 3 is surprisingly large.

It really depends on the time of year. Most AP’s have block out dates, many people won’t travel in the summer months due to heat, kid’s school schedules, etc….

We typically go once or twice a year, but I am suprised at the number of first timers we always seem to meet between Christmas and New Years. It makes sense I guess, since many people in the know, avoid that week like the plague and only the highest tier AP can get in.

But to answer your question, on a day where there are no AP blockout days I’ll guess 45% are locals/Ap holders, 35% are regular once a year visitors and 20% are first time visitors.
