how would you split an MK day w/a MGM day?

w/lunch at the castle at 130?
we will have been to MK for the MNSSHP, not to MGM at all this trip
have a day where we may park hop these 2
would you spend morn in MGM (rock n roller) and then move to MK at 1230?
or stay morn at MK and then after lunch move over to MGM?
may just depend on when we get up that day?! Will be a Thurs (1wk from today actually)
just saw Thurs is MK early entry day - If we dont make it to early entry, would you skip MK that day?

Due to Hurricane Charley, we were forced to alter our plans and go to MK on Thursday. In spite of it being an EE day, we found that things weren't especially crowded. We stuck to the 1-day touring plan in the Unofficial Guide and we saw everything just fine. So if your concern about MK in the AM is EE, I wouldn't sweat it.

I think I would do MK in the morning then MGM, because they have spectro that night which will add to the EE day crowds I would think.

Personally I would go to MK in the morning - but we always make MK ar morning park. If we are going to MK we are at the gate by rope drop, pick a land and get as much done as we can by lunch. We do several mornings at MK during a trip until we have hit all the lands at least once.

I just think that the MK gets too crowded mid-day for my taste! We leave the park by 1ish and either go to another park or hit the resort for a break. We will do an evening at MK to see spectro and or wishes but usually after 5ish.

I just think that MGM and Epcot distribute the crowds better and our family enjoys them more at night!

Also remember that since this is during MNSSHP time, MK will be closing to non-party guests at 6:00 p.m. If not, I would say MGM first, then MK since the hours are longer there. But since you will have to leave MK by 6:00 p.m., I would go there first and finish out the day at MGM.

I just checked the MNSSHP schedule, and there is no party scheduled for next Thursday. So, I would start at MGM, do the biggies in the morning and then head to MK so you can take advantage of the longer park hours.

I would get up, do EE (if possible), eat lunch and then head to MGM, that way you can finish the day with Fantasmic!
