How would you compare backwards on GtG and Everest?

I am in possession of well-loved but motion sickness prone DH and DD. They can both ride Everest, but barely, due to the backwards part. Neither can ride FoP or Forbidden Journey. They are okay on BTMRR and SM. Hubby can’t ride Hagrids. If you know Cedar Poinr, DD can ride all the coasters but Gatekeeper. Your experience?

So I can do most coasters fine. Banking with high Gs bothers me but not so much that I throw up. I can’t so spinning rides, nor can I do Everest because of the backwards part. I thought the backwards launch on Cosmic Rewind would bother me most. I was actually fine with that part, but once the car started spinning I was done for. Sickest I’ve ever been on a ride. Note: I was dumb and did not take Dramamine bedorehand. Ginger pills and nausea (not motion sickness) medication did nothing.

My DD is so sad because last trip she had the motion sickness patch, and she could ride EVERYTHING. But it messed with her eyes and it was a week before she could see words on a page .

They are so different
EE combines with a drop
Guardians does not
EE has no rotation
Guardians does
It’s all what impacts you more

My 2 cents people who have issues with FJ will probably have issues with GotG CR.
Good to know. My son is not prone to motion sickness and can ride anything, but got sick after riding FJ. We'll likely skip Guardians.

I haven't read too much about GotG and just starting to do research for an October trip.
I can do FoP and Remys but need to keep my eyes closed at some points. After last trip I decided not to do Remys since I think my eyes were closed
more than open. I don't do Everest any longer because going back makes my vertigo go bonkers.
I was going to try GotG even though it went backwards but wasn't aware if spins too. Is there a lot of spinning?
I'm guessing I'll take this off my list and one less attraction to stress about getting LOL

Spinning is sort of subjective depending on how you define spinning.
It doesn’t spin like Tea Cups. It never goes around fast
It’s more like twists and turns though it does go fully around at some point. It’s always slow though, not fast. But you are twisting and turning while moving forward.

I think EE, especially in the back, is more intense going backward than GotG. Unlike EE, GotG has the storyline to direct your focus and the spinning is just part of that focusing as you move ”forward” on the tracks. The ride is very smooth and a lot of fun. None of us are prone to motion sickness but I can say that none of us were dizzy on the ride nor immediately afterward.
