I'm going to post a couple of pictures. They were all taken with my Kodak p&s 710 camera. Can you please try to explain to me what points would be different with a dslr? Trying to know exactly what "parts" of the picture to look for the differences in.

Short Story: I love mine and wouldn't trade it for the world. Superior IQ in a small package. However, it's a "thinking camera". It WON'T take a good photo unless you know what your doing. Spend a lot of time in Av, or M and must shoot RAW. That said, I would not recommend it it 99% of the people here. But if you know how to use it, It produces the cleanest, smoothest, most impressive images right up to ISO 800. It may not be able to "top" a Lecia M8 or Canon 5D, but it definitely keeps them company.
