How long is the safari at the AK? Would a 2 year old get bored? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

If your 2 year old loves animals, he/she will like the safari. My dd went on the safari for the first time at 2 1/2. She loved it. But she's a mini Stanley. She absolutely loves animals.

we went early in the morning and it was hard *not* to see something most of the time( picture a tennis match:)) so unless she has no interest in animals I would think a toddler would love it

MY DS was one when he went on it. He LOVED it. I held him tight on my lap and he watched so intently for all the animals. The driver sang happy birthday to him and had the whole jeep sing with him. It is anything but boring for them. Its bumpy and really different than anywhere else they will be on your vacation to WDW. We actually sat on a window seat so don't be afraid to - it gives them a better view anyways.

My DD was 22 months when she went on the safari and she adored it. I agree with the tennis match analogy. She just kept looking from side to side!

As a 7mo, she slept through it...As a 2yo, she sat surprisingly still and enjoyed every minute of it! She didn't even care that daddy was holding her, since mommy was taking lots of photos! ;)

We were just on it yesterday. We'd never sat in the very back before and wow you get one heck of a ride back there. But hey, my 2 1/2 year old dd FELL ASLEEP!!!! She had put her legs up on the seat and I was holding on to her because we were really bouncing around and I felt her head getting heavier and heavier and she was out like a light by the time it was over.

Anyway though, to answer your question, she usually LOVES the safari ride and seeing the animals and I'm sure your 2 year old will too. But if they don't like a really really bumpy ride, sit in the front!

My son loved it as a two year old. Loved it as a four year old too. :)

I agree with the others - our 2 year old (24 months exactly) loved every minute of it. We had to hold on tight because of the bumpiness, but he never squirmed or complained during the whole ride. Adults probably forget how amazing it must be for a 2 year old to see actual live animals that they probably only have seen before in books.

My daughter is 4, and we have been going for the last 3 yrs and shes always rode it and always loved it. She loves rough stuff, and the animals. To her the more bouncier the ride, the more giggles we get.:p
