With all of us sharing the love for the parks, how will you react to the parks re-opening? I know several have had to re-schedule, some are still thinking about re-scheduling and some are canceling all together. Others now have to think about all the school kiddos have missed and factor that in to plans.

So, IF, I say “IF” the parks re-open later this year, how do you feel about moving forward with your vacations plans?

My son and I were supposed to go on a school trip through a travel company at the beginning of April, but since we were with a group, we figured we wouldn't have been able to do Rise of The Resistance since we probably wouldn't get to the park before it opened. So we had already decided we were going to go in June 2021 right after school gets out (I have two in school and I am a principal, so a long trip during the school year isn't possible). For now, we are still planning to go in June 2021 and can't wait for it to open up for booking!!

I would like to go this year, but it will depend on what happens with the re-opening. If they have cut out a lot of the experiences they used to have, and everyone has to wear masks, I don't think that would be so fun, so I might just wait.

If the U.K. FCO drops its advisory against international travel and/or travel to the US and if the US government starts re issuing ESTAs and if British Airways is still operating my scheduled flight, I will be there.

I do not have children but I do work for the school system and like to take long, 8-10 day vacations over the summer. Currently planned for Aug 12-21, if that can’t happen I’ll likely take a mini trip out to DL and make another go next summer.

I don't have kids, but I'm a teacher, so we're tied to the school schedule. I'm thinking it's not likely that we'll be back before summer 2021, and it may be DLR. DLR is in driving distance for us. I won't fly across the country to WDW unless it is 100% back to normal. We really wanted to go to WDW for Christmas break this year, but it's seeming unlikely to me that things will be totally back to normal by then.

I wrote about this in a different thread, but since we already have a trip scheduled, it will depend on whether or not the parks open in time for our trip. If it is, and that's parks, not just the resorts, then we're going, even if there's limited capacity, masks, swabs, decontamination stations or whatever. But if the parks aren't open by then, then we're probably going to try to outright cancel and postpone even making plans until everything's settled down. At that time, we're not above pulling the kids out of school to target low crowd times, but like all previous trips, it'll come down to deals and whatnot for which exact weeks we go.

If the kids are off, we go. Wish we could go whenever. Our kids would never speak to us if we went to Disney without them. We’ve already been to Atlantis without them. ::yes::

Won’t be going 2020 despite being annual pass holders But I’ll still be Jumping for Joy when it opens.
