How will you frame your giclee?

We just received our giclee - what a great surprise. My question for those of you who will be framing theirs is how to go about framing it? Someone mentioned Michaels sells a frame. If anyone finds a specific one, can they please post the product information?

I was wondering the same thing. However after looking at it and reading a bit, I don't think a Giclee is meant to be framed. If you look at the sides you will notice the picture wraps around. Perhaps others will feel differently.

I work with artists and write a monthly column for an art publication.

The reason you frame is to protect the picture. Yes, a lot of artists wrap their artwork, just like the image on the DVC giclee. But if the picture is valuable enough to you, you should frame it.

If/when I get mine, I'm planning to frame it, but I'm not sure if I'll use glass. I will either use some molding to create my own frame or I'll head over to Michael's or Garden Ridge and buy a frame.
