We will be at Animal Kingdom, need to be at Planet Hollywood in DTD at 6:00 for ressies. We were going to leave AK around 4ish and catch a cab, just to make sure we make it on time. How will this work, will there be a cab outside the park or will we need to have someone call us one?

There will be a line of cabs near the bus stops. If your leaving AK at 4 you should have plenty of time to make your 6 PM reservation using WDW buses, though.

We always take the Mears taxi phone number with us- so we can call one ourselves(and not worry about gypsy cabs).

Taxi's are usually readily available and the trip between AK and DTD shouldn't take over a half hour if traffic isn't awful--I'd plan on 45 minutes to be on the safe side---so you'll have more than enough time...
