How will the F&WF impact the epcot character connection

It looks like the food and wine festival is taking over the character spot - can anyone confirm this, and if so, where will the characters go (will the character bus be put back in service for example?)

This may be the 1st time in DIS board history that no one has had an answer!

We don't have the answer because I don't beliueve character connection has been open during the Food and Wine Festival in the past so there is nothing to base experience on. I suspect that they will have it somewhere as they have found it is more successful than the old bus.

The only thing I can tell you from experience, is that they were still in the same location during the Flower & Garden show, while the displays were set up in the other hallways of the building. So the main characters were still there, just no one meeting in the hallway. One day that I went, they had the five, and then Pinocchio was an extra just kind of wandering in the meet & greet area.
