How will the crowds be 10/27-31

We are thinking of going to visit my sister in law at college this week before my husband is deployed. While we are in California I think we are going to take the kids to Disneyland (any excuse to get a trip in right ?). My son is on fall break that week. What are the crowds typically like at this time of year/this week ?

I can't believe I might be going to Disneyland in less than a month and I haven't planned a thing - talk about last minute !!

Well we will be there woot woot! It is Halloween week so I'm expecting it to be semi-crowded.

Nevada schools have that Friday off (Nevada day to celebrate the founding of the state) and tons of people--my family included all head to Disneyland! So, I would expect that Friday in particular will be very crowded due to Halloween and the influx of Nevadans on top of typical weekend crowds.

I'll be there 10/26-10/31 for my first ever DL visit so I'm hoping it's not too crowded! I'm a WDW vet(15+ trips)so am really looking forward to seeing where it all started. Is the Nevada weekend the weekend of 10/31? or the one prior? I couldn't tell by the prior poster's response.
