How/where are good hotel rates?

I'm just starting the journey of planning our first trip to WDW for April 7. How/where did you find the best price for hotels (POR)? I've tried WDW home site, AAA. Are there any other places you can suggest? Thank you.

mousesavers.com had lots of good advice! also sign up for the newletter, it comes on the 15th of every month and has many newsletter only offers. good luck!!

I think that at this late date and given the fact that you're looking at Easter week for your vacation, you're probably going to pay the rack rate for your room.

Try getting a room-only quote from a TA like Dreams Unlimited. If there is still a discount out there, they'll find one for you. Good luck.

you can go to google .com and search hotels near disney, there are many to choose from, some offering more things then others

Do you mean April 7 of this year or 2005? I have to agree with mad4themouse. At this late date I don't think you're going to find any great deals, especially on-site.

Check with Dreams Unlimited as was mentioned. They may have something.

if you don't mind being a little bit away from the park, we booked a king suite at a holiday inn express (breakfast is included) for$70 a night, during April vacation week of this year. We booked it through priorityclub.com, who guarantees the lowest rate, and booked the AAA rate (much lower than the rack rate!!)
I was so happy to get the suite, and if we have to drive a little, thats ok, we plan to do other things besides the parks.
I found my head spinning trying to get a good deal!
