How wet?

depends on where you sit and how many large adults are sitting in the log. In the front you can get soaked! I have gotten pretty wet sitting mid-log, especially with bigger adults in the log.... seems like in the back you can get some splash / sloshing over the side, but not as bad. Though, .....with a log full of adults, could be wet, wet, wet!!

Depends on a million things, most notably:

Your position in the log (front is typically wetter than the back)
Your particular log's overall weight distribution

Truly, though, the amount of potential wetness is directly related to how wet you wish to become. If you are hot and willing to get soaked, you will get about 3 drops on your big toe. If you are cold, wearing a white t-shirt and praying for a dry ride, you will look like you went down the drop without a log ;)

DD doesn't like wet clothes. We are going last week of October. I think maybe ill just play it by ear at the end of the day. Plenty of other things to do :)

You could wear a poncho or take an extra pair of clothes and change in Hungry Bear bathrooms!

Splash is one of my favorite attractions sans the getting wet part. I always wear a emergency poncho and it works for the most part. Roll pants up to the knee, long sleeves to the elbow. I have not found a solution to the shoes/socks, other than keeping my feet up off the floor of the log.

Last time we were there in mid Oct 2012 it was hot! Didn't mind getting wet and as others have said our log had mainly adult sized people: 3 of us (my DH, then 6yr old DD and me) as well as 2 other adults and their 2 teenagers. My DD & I were seated in the side-by-side seat at the back of the log w/ my DH in front of us. The adults got pretty wet but my daughter seriously looked like we threw her in a pool fully clothed! Thankfully it was crazy hot so her clothes dried quickly!

today, going from the back of the log to the front.

DH, a big guy. One leg got soaked. Me, a smaller adult. Not wet at all, apart from feet, but I had changed into flipflops. DS, a 10 year old. Not wet. Average-ish man in front of DS, not noticably wet. Two women in the front two seats, average-ish size, soaked.

Wear quick-dry clothes, wear sandals, keep dry stuff in plastic bags. Wear ponchos wrapped all around and UNDER you and make sure they go up to the neck (otherwise water goes down the chest).

Too funny man! ;)

I've been soaked on a couple occasions. No way to accurately determine wetness level. You will see people in varying stages of wet exiting the ride. Don't leave anything exposed that you mind getting soaked.

It does depend but me and DH last year both were about 280ish were assigned to 1 and 2 ( front spots)...never again..LOL.

We were so top heavy we were drenched worse than we ever have been and I think that was the one time we decided to fly..so not fun lol.

Last time we roide at night we had a great boat of adults all average to overweight like me and DH and we ALL were soaked in every seat so it can be a crapshoot. Just be prepared. Typically on the days I know i'm doing splash I wear fast drying clothes/shoes.
