Anyone just back from there trip over Columbus Weekend? I'm especially interested how the crowds were Wed- Fri.

Friday seemed manageable to me. There were a lot of people, but the waits were not bad. Can't answer for Wednesday and Thursday, but my guess is that they were similar; probably a little less busy. Saturday and Sunday were pretty mobbed. We actually just gave up on Saturday. By 11:00 on Sunday, the MK was packed, although it was early entry that day, so that explains it. MGM was as crowded as I've seen it on Sunday, although the waits for the major rides were still under an hour -- I understand it can get worse.

We were told no on virtually every last minute PS we tried for starting Thursday evening and ending Monday. The only thing available for any of our days that we could find was Boma (which I thought was supposed to be easy) at like 9:45 one of the nights. We were, however, able to get walk up seating every where we tried, including the Cal. Grill. Lines for transportation were pretty good, and we only had to wait for multiple monorails once. Never been there in the summer, but my hunch is that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were somewhat consistent with your average summer weekend, with Sunday maybe being a little more crowded.

We were at MK and MGM on Wednesday before Columbus Day weekend. Both parks were pretty empty. No more than a five minute wait for any rides. Tower of Terror at 2:30 pm was a walk-on.

We were at Epcot on Sunday and it was more crowded, but still manageable. Not sure what the waits were because we got to Mission Space & Test Track right after opening. Went to HISTA later in the morning, no line. Didn't go on any other rides because Universe of Energy was down & Wonders of Life was closed.

In fact, the longest lines I saw were for the Food & Beverage booths for the festival! Ten minute or more waits just to get samples. We ate at a restaurant instead.

We were there Saturday through Wednesday. Saturday we were at Animal Kingdom and it was very managable. Monday we went to MGM in the morning - we were with our 5 year old and 3 year old. The lines for Little Mermaid and Playhouse Disney were long, but did not have to wait for mulitple shows. We were at MK on Tuesday and Wednesday. Again, managable, but on Tuesday night the lines in Fantsyland were over an hour if you did not have a fast pass. When we did the rides in the morning the wait was minimal. I did see that the Line for Thunder Mountain RR was only 15 minutes at 1:00 on Wednesday. My guess is that, since most of the "big kids" were in school, the lines for the big attractions were shorter but the lines for the younger kids rides built up more quickly. Just a thought. Oh - we did not do EPCOT at all.
