How well does FOTL work at really busy times?

If guests at the three on-site hotels all get front of the line privileges, I'd think the "front of the line" would get pretty long ats very busy times like spring break and Christmas week. How long do the "front of the line" folks have to wait and is it worth it?

Great I was there at a peak time, was very packed back in July and fast passes got us on within 5 minutes or less everytime. We had roomkey/fast passes.

We use ours a lot during the peak time (we have the Premier APs), and the most I ever saw the lines get was 45 mins. due to Mummy breakdowns or Fear Factor letting out and everyone heading to MiB. But other than that, waits typically ran 5 to 15 mins.

The Team Members are trained to deal with the Express Pass and Regular Line ratios. They have to merge the lines somehow, and a long Express Line takes precedence over a long Regular Line.

At my attraction, if Express gets waayy out of control, we'll load 3 ride vehicles worth of Express, 1 vehicle Regular.

Yea it's a pain if you are in the regular line, but the Express people ***** if they don't get on in 5 minutes.

We've stayed onsite during Spring Break, and FOTL was awesome! We basically walked on most rides.

I've seen Express as little as 2 minutes, and as long as 90 minutes during peak times.
Sometimes it seems like its not worth it, that is until you look at the standby line.

Express actually pays off the most during peak times. Usually your wait will be 15 minutes or less while other people are waiting nearly 2 hours. If you went to the parks now, however, Express wouldn't be particularly worth it since none of the lines are that long in the first place.
