I ask, I guess cause I always, always, always wind up way too far to the right side of the space the first time I pull in. Maybe cause my left eye doesn't see as well as the right? I don't know, but I am a lousy parker. My dad would be ashamed. Do you park well...and, do you know anyone who is fanatical about parking straight?

Now I wrote "Perfectly every time" but that's pull in parking of any type. Even back in parking. But PARALLEL PARKING?! Yikes!! Almost 30 years ago that was my achilles heal of the driving test and I still have a problem with it. Luckily all one has to do is drive a bit further away to find non-parallel parking! whew! OR I get out and let DH park because he's actually very good at it.

It really depends on the car. But more often than not, I am too far to the left, as in right next to the line or on the line, not over the line, and that's fine because SO needs more room to get out of the car than me anyway. Of course, I make her drive most of the time anyway.

I CAN parallel park too.

I cant stand people who pull in totally crooked and then just hop out and go about their business. I come out to my perfectly parked car only to see I need to squeeze in through a crack of my door b/c they are on the line and hopefully no one hits my door in the meantime.
Major pet peeve of mine.

Perfectly every time, except when I don't. :rotfl2: Actually I'm pretty good, just don't put me in a panel van. not good.

My DH calls me the parking pixie. In my new first van I will take 2-3 times to get it right. I am normally to close to the right.

I'm usually pretty good at parking except at school. I tend to park too far to the right there.

Let's just say I LOVE winter parking, because there are no lines telling you where to park
I'm slowly getting better at parking. Actually I'm surprisingly good at backing in. I parallel parked for the first time in August since December 30, 2002 (don't ask, I just remember that). I shocked everyone, including myself. I always look through pull through spaces, because I *usually* have to back out and try again if I have to just swing into a space.

Hey, it's ME that did it and I did the VERY BEST I could!!! :rotfl: Try (at middle age) driving a 2 seater sports car with 6 gears and a hood you can't see over! (Not the car pictured below. That belongs to DH.)

I always think of myself a great driver but a HORRIBLE parker!! I always park crooked.......I don't know why!

This is one of my pet peeves, so if I get out of my car and it's not perfect I'll get back in and do it again. Our parking lot @work is so crowded that it really annoys me to see someone who parks "over the line" day after day.

I'm awful at parking. I either park too far to the left, crooked, too far to the right...basically I can't park! If you looked at my car in the parking lot, you'd think a 5 year old parked my car. It's pathetic.
