Hungry Bear and Cafe Orleans will just not be the same without it. Anyone who has been recently really miss it or really didn't care.

I was there on Thursday and it wasn't too weird. Admittedly, I never really spent much time doing the ROA activities (the island, the canoes, etc.) so I don't really miss it, but I was worried about it looking ugly. They have the walls up around most of it. The only thing is when you take the train, they don't have a wall, so you can see the empty river and all the trucks cleaning the area once you pass, so that's not very magical lol.

Yesterday (Saturday), we rode the train full circle from Main Street. When we passed by the ROA we all said out loud, "Look at the river." It was odd to see it with basically no water (there was a little). Just as you could focus on it, it was gone, as the train moved along the tracks.

Otherwise, as said above, you really don't see it.

I think how you the ROA has to be different when you sit at RBT, Cafe Orleans, etc and people watch or just to relax and watch the ships go by.
I was looking at all the construction pics yesterday and it would not be the same to me whether I did the ROA activities or not.
