(This is Jsmla's DD)
Just rode Mission Space! Here's how:
My DB and I went to Mission Space at 1:00 and sat around waiting for something to happen. About 20 minutes later a cast member dressed in a space suit came walking by and DB asked him if testing was going on today. He told us to come back around four, so we went and visited other attractions until about 3:50. When we got back to the outside of Mission Space there were about 50-75 people waiting infront of the barriers. At 4 the Mission Space cast members let us in and we had to wait in line for about 10 minutes. Throughout the line there were several warnings that the ride was very intense and warnings about enclosed spaces, but neither DB
SPOILER
We were led into a small room and divided into "teams" of four. There were ten teams for each mission. We were each assigned a job(navigator, pilot, commander, or engineer)and ask to push certain buttons throughout the flight. The ride was soooo realistic. I actually felt weightlessness.
After the ride we were led into a room with different space activities. My DB and I got in line for Mission Space Race. It was pretty much a video game were the people were divided into mission control or astronauts. We were astronauts. There were two teams,Orion(our team) and Triton, and we had to repair parts of the ship by matching colored diamonds(which were sent by mission space) to the areas that needed to be repaired. From the outside the game looked kind of stupid, but DB and I really enjoyed it. Over all Mission Space was awesome. (Lizzie)
(This is Liz's mom who avoided MS due to claustrophobia. There were several warnings about "enclosed dark spaces". Liz said I made a wise choice!)
