I find it funny that for a message Board there are so many unmentionable things--

The name that will not be used

The details of a resale contract for fear of jinxing it (worked for me)

Done one with TSS, one with "She who must not be named" Both went well.

Attempted to do one with Lou Reid for Reid Realty! HORRID experience. He had a good number of listings, but he does not contact you, the seller or anybody. After several attempts to find out what was going on I just gave up. Never heard if my offer was presented to the seller and I somehow doubt it was. At one point he did respond that he had not responded to my email since he had laragytis (I know I spelled that wrong!) How does not being able to talk impace your email????

Hey carol- Thanks for breaking the ice with that post that finally breaks teh string of positive reviews---I actually have to agree with you-- a few weeks before using TTS, I found a contract on Reid's site and contacted him about it-- I had a bunch of questions b/c i was(and still am) a novice/beginner.

Reid dismissed the questions and simply stated "if you want to make an offer just email it on the website" -- With that kind of "help", I knew that the transaction would not go smoothly- so I looked elsewhere.

Just dealt with Christy at TTS and she has been great. She has been very patient with my constant calling. The "unmentionable one" told me that she trained most fo the staff at TSS before she left. She doesn't have that much to choose from though.

I also tried to get a contract with Lee Reid, but he said the "seller would not return his phone calls"...okay, WHAT???!!!! I am assuming that contract was LONG gone, and he had been such a FLAKE with the seller, that the seller just "blew him off". I know legally he could've gone after that seller for the commission....but, I think the seller must've had "issues" with him. Either way, Lee NEVER answered his phone, and wouldn't return my messages. I did get a few "short" emails from him....but, he didn't seem too interested in selling me a contract...so, I just bought one from someone else.

For our first contract, we used "the one who shall remain nameless" and as everyone has said she was great!! This last one that just got ROFR'd was through the TTS and we dealt with Jason, who was also wonderful to deal with.

these stories are great- I am glad I posted this question-- and i am sure that jason from TTS and Jaki at Atimeshare are happy too-- On the other hand, it looks like Mr. Reid better shape up a little bit.... I always wanted to put that smiley face in there!!

We are in the very early stages of acquiring a resale (meaning we are in the process of selling some property and need to get that money first) so we contacted the sponsor of this site and Kristie answered all of our questions. Now we just have to get the money and find a contract to suit our needs. Not many BWV June use years out there.

Well, maybe he was on tour and lost his voice and then hurt his fingers playing guitar.... oh... wait.. That's Lou REED..... he walks on the wild side, y'know.... I probably would not buy real estate from a rock star.

We also used Jaki when we bought our VWL resale about three years ago and have nothing but high praise for her. We knew what was going on every step of the way. When we were looking for our resale we did come across Mr. Reid's site. After reading all these bad reports I'm sure glad we went with Jaki! We're now looking to add on at OKW and are haunting three sites looking for that "dream contract."

Kristie is my agent at the TTS too. She's been tiggerific! I'm amazed by her patience and no pressure sell Of course, once I decided on a resale, that was it. No stopping me! Still waiting on another ROFR BWV contract. I've seen a few June UY come and go during the last month, so it'll be there when you're ready

Wow OP i just started shopping around and Jason is my agent also...i have not purchased yet but i will say up to this point he is been very kind....No pressure....in fact he calls me every time something in my price range comes up....

I asked him for a ref and he produced many....

Hey helpdeskguy- The reason I started this thread is so people like you could have references already-- It is also "unedited"-- As you can see, there are certain people who consistently receive good reviews, while others are no as lucky--

That's service! Jason helped me decide (totally left it up to me), how much to raise my point offer for on my 1st BWV contract. It passed ROFR, not sure if it would have at $75, but it could have. Who knows for sure! I just knew that I had wanted to give it my best shot to pass, and he listened to me rationalize etc... I probably tortured the poor guy! He's not my agent, but happened to be the lucky person to take calls during the 'drama'. He also had a lot of confidence in my BCV points passing at $81 per point. I wasn't so confident, but left it alone. Both contracts passed ROFR last week! He has a good track record for helping set offers (although, leaves decision totally up to buyer) to pass ROFR from what I can see from reading the boards. Kristie is my agent, and she's the best! I really liked Pat too** Great experience all around. I don't regret not going with Disney (had terrible customer service), but I'm not completely done with my two transactions. I will definitely post my experience on some board as soon as I finish up on both of my contracts. You can say, that I'm half-way through, passed ROFR, need to go through escrow, pay remaining balance eventually, and get points into my system. I'm going to have different UY at different resorts, so I'll end up with up with up to three member numbers! It'll be interesting! I may have to sell one contract, and buy the same UY eventually, if this doesn't work out for me. Kristie, Jason and Pat seem to think that it really wouldn't matter to me once I start using my points.
