How was weather last yr at Xmas-New year?

How were crowds? Trying to decide on holiday trip.

I go every year on the week after Xmas and all except this past year was COOOOLD!

2002-03 shocked me, though. It was very warm, 70s, until about the 3rd of January. Then it went to the 50s in the heat of the day.

I always expect the Christmas crowd to disappear after New Years day but I learned not to expect that this year also. Since the New Year's day was on a Weds this year, people and the crowds remained until the weekend. I'd expect the same this year also since New Years day in on a Thurs this time.

Despite the inconsistency, it is my favorite time of year in Orlando. I prefer cold weather and prefer it over the sweltering heat Orlando is known for. I also love the decorations and the atmosphere, which is most of the reason why I like being there then.

The weather was wonderful like robin said it was in the 70's. Only down to the entire time we where there was NYE the evening was a bust!!! It started to pour about 6 or so and it did'nt let up and even got worst. The boats stopped running and we could'nt make our Mythos ressie's for NY'S! The PBH sqeezed us a ressie at Trattiorio and we ate there and hung out at the hotel but it was to bad we did'nt get back to the parks for NYE and citywalk. But other than that it was a fantatic 5 days and we would do it again in a heartbeat. I like to wait 2 days after christmas to go for the holidays that way i have my house back in order and time to enjoy christmas at home and head off to enjoy the end of the year celebrations. IT was excellent.

It was great holiday weather....very cooooooool to almost cold on some days. The crowds will be higher than normal as any holiday, but it should be a lot of fun.

In 2001 it was very cold! We were there 12/26-12/29 and were ordering hot chocolate at the HRH Beach Club! We still went in the pool because we could not resist trying the slide. HAVE FUN

Crowds from 12/26 -12/31 are EXTREMELY BUSY. I'm talking 45-60 minute wait for almost everything busy.

The weather varies. Some days it will be nice, some days it will be cold. FL is weird like that.
