How unusual is this?

On Monday I received my luggage tags, but we are not going till the end of September and we didn't even pay in full yet. In all the years I have gone we always got the tags 30 days out. Isn't this a little too early? Anyone else get them this early? New procedure or just a fluke?

It's happened every so often for about a year now. We got them about 6 months out for our last trip.

When I booked my ME stuff online (with all my information) I got my tags about two weeks afterwards. This was back in March (actually it was exactly two months ago we got them) and we don't head out til Aug 4.

I have got mine a lot earlier before as well. Sometimes they have come in with the book of coupons and vouchers as well. I LOVE Mickey Mail!

I received my Magical Express tags about two weeks after I booked and I'm not leaving until October.

I haven't gotten the luggage tags (toy story ones) that I got last time I went. Although I'm not sure they send those anymore?

I leave in a week and a half and have gotten two sets of tags myself. I received them about a week apart.

Yay then its not just me that Disney is bombarding with mail Actually our trip is a surprise for our kids so every time something from Disney comes in the mail we hope to avoid any questions. So far so good and we have even ordered several things from the Disney store and not a clue yet by our most of the time oblivious 10 year old.

This, exactly. I was pretty surprised. All I've paid is my deposit.

In the past we always received them about 3 weeks before arrival date. When we bought into DVC in 2009, we started receiving them about 30 or so days after booking. I thought it was odd, too!

We received the ME vouchers and bar coded luggage tags this week for our trip in August. I figured it was because I filled out the online ME form a few weeks back with our flight information because ground transportation wasn't showing up in MDE. It is now.

We haven't received the plastic luggage ID tags yet though, hoping we get some, although we could use the re-use ones from our trip in 2013.
