How Tough is it to get @ Tree House Villa at 11 months in August?

Never tried for August but I think if you call right at 11 months you'll be fine. If you do have to waitlist, I think you'll have a good chance of getting it. I got one for Halloween weekend, 3 nights, from a waitlist at 7 months.

I think no problem whatsoever. I booked one for 2 nights during Spring Break at 10 months out.

We've booked a Thanksgiving, July and mid December stay at 11 months without any problem.

Booked last July for this June right on 11 months. I made the call on a Sunday afternoon, and the CM making the reservation seemed to suggest that it was wise that I called that day.

Hope you have SSR points to make the reservation, and have fun -- it's great to be in a forest with public transportation, even if you have your own car!

We just had a THV Aug 13-20. When I booked it, last September, I forgot to mark the 11-month point on my calendar. I was three days late in calling for the booking, but still managed to get all nights without a problem.

Your mileage may vary, but if you call right at the 11-month mark it shouldn't be a problem.

SSS is my home resort and I called at 10 months for an 8 day stay 5/31/2012 to 6/7/2012 and I am waitlisted for the Sunday in the middle. Hoping my waitlist comes through for the one night. The CM told me the waitlist should come through.

Tim (via DVC News) reported that DVD declared a score (or so) more THV over the past few months, so that should help alleviate any backlog for a bit.

With 11mos you should be fine. We had no problem getting June 2010 for our trip. We really enjoyed the THV.

We were there Aug 29-31 (Actually had the 28th too but cancelled it within a few weeks). I booked it 7 months at 9 am.

I got a THV for 4 nights next March at the 11 month mark. The CM told me there were more than 5 left when I called.
