Forbes came out with a list of the top charities and what percentage of their donations actually go to the needy. If you follow the link, you can see a full list, about 8 pages long. You can click on the charity and see how much their top employee makes. It's really surprising how much money some of these people make. I checked on Susan B. Komen, and their top person makes $245,513 a year, and their charitable commitment is 76%. It's something to look into when you're trying to decide what charity to donate to this year. You can see the full list here: http://www.forbes.com/lists/2005/14/Name_1.html

· American Cancer Society -- 80%
· American Nat'l Red Cross -- 81%
· Catholic Charities USA -- 92%
· Goodwill Industries Int'l -- 96%
· Habitat for Humanity -- 85%
· U.S. Humane Society -- 75%
· Special Olympics -- 74%
· Salvation Army -- 92%

This is excellent info to have. Thanks so much for posting the link.
