Finally going after postponing our vacation over the past two years! I've been collecting those old tickets that were $99/7 days that were sold a few years back that supposedly don't expire until seven days after you use them.

Can we bring those straight to the gate, or do we need to exchange them for a different ticket? They are not vouchers, but look like regular small square tickets.

Has anyone had any trouble using those tickets lately?

Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas!!

We have the same tickets and are looking forward to using them in March!!

Ditto. I snapped up a couple as soon as they announced the new ticket structure. Sometime in '09, was it? And we'll be using them a month from now - *so* much cheaper than what it would cost us to buy them today.

we used ours this past June, enjoyed every last minute of all 7 days! We scored 40% off at the RPR by receiving an email...(first time that has happened to us) and were also part of the group to have early entry to WWOHP , just after Memorial Day. tickets and accomodations were just over $1300 for our family of 4 adults for 7 days/6 nights..it was SWEET!

I snagged the vouchers from Dreams before the new pricing structure came into force.

Wondering about upgrading them to AP? Can we do this in advance or have to wait until we get to guest services ?

I was able to do this the year they first came out so I assume you still can? Best bet is to just call and find out your options :)

now you need to go to guest services with those 7 day hoppers for ticket exchange.

Hi,i also have these tickets which i bought back in 2010 and will be using in August of next year.Do i also need to show anything else(as i am from the UK),like the invoice that came with them or the card i used to pay for them?.Thank you.x.

you can upgrade your tickets to the ap.
you need to go to guest services for this procedure.

if you bought them directly from universal, it should be in the system.
bring your receipt number.
or you can bring the invoice, i think that is the same thing.

if you lost that info, guest services will work with you, not an issue.
do bring an id.
they usually require that on some transactions.

uo no longer has the 7 day hopper passes for sale.
that is why you need to go to guest services for converting them.
use the outside gs office.

Hi-that was a quick reply :thumbsup2.
I bought them through UndercoverTourist as i knew that Universal were doing away with these tickets(i bought 2 lots actually and used one lot last April but did'nt have to go to guest services).
This is where my problem could be,i cannot for the life of me find any information regaarding me purchasing these tickets-apart fom having the tickets which are still sealed in those clear plastic wrapped sheets?,hope that makes sense.I always carry a credit card sized laminated cover of the back of our passports around with us-will this be ok?.Thank you.x.

i buy my motherland tickets from UT so i know what you mean by the plastic seal.

keep the ticket in that seal and bring it with you.
uo can figure out the price you paid for them.
they will be honored for tickets again.

since UO does not sell 7 day hopper tickets anymore, they need to convert them for what will scan thru the turnstile.

that is why you need to go to guest services.
you will receive tickets that can be used then.

guest services has been doing this for sometime.
they will work with you!

since prices have increased for UO, i have not heard of anyone paying extra to change those 7 day tickets over to present tickets.

UO honors the tickets they have sold in the past.

Hi,
Thank you,my next question was going to be 'will i have to pay any extra',but hopefully by the sound of it i won't have to :thumbsup2.
Will they sort of be like for like as in will the new tickets be valid for 7 days?As we normally visit US on day 1,IOA on day 3 then both parks together on day 5 or 6?.x.

i suggest you send an email to guest services and work with them on how they will be evaluating your passes if you need this information right away.

since i don't work there, i am not sure how they work out the particularies.
only they can answer the above question.
