How to use those old $99/7 day park tickets?

Hey quick question guys, How long are e-tickets you purchase and print out online good for before you use them. I purchased them online last April but havent had the chance to get to Florida yet

They won't expire.

Just FYI, but a couple of years ago my DH *did* have trouble activating one of those old tickets from 06 when he was alone in Orlando. When he took it for conversion, guest services gave him a very hard time about where he got the ticket. He was not the original purchaser, because I was, and he and I don't have joint credit card accounts, though our address is the same. Even though they had been purchased directly from Universal online, they were questioning how he had obtained them and were asking for the purchase receipt. He contacted me and I faxed it down to them, but by the time I did they had already decided to let him have the value of the ticket; however, it took about an hour and the input of several staff members before they did so.

So, it is possible that Universal may question where the ticket came from and ask for some kind of proof that you (or someone close to you) were the original purchaser.

I had sent an email to guest services and a pleasant young man called me back. We bought our 7-day tickets shortly before the price increase. He said that since they had a bar code on it, they should work in the scanner at the front entrance and to try that first. If not, then guest services will exchange the ticket for equal amounts of entrance media that will work in the scanner so we will still get 7-days.
