How to travel between parks?

I recently asked about getting from DTD to the parks and now have realized ... what if we switch halfway through the day to a different park? Do we have to travel to a resort and then transfer busses?!?!

At each park there are buses to the other parks except for DTD. There are also other ways to travel between parks such as the monorail from MK to Epcot. There is a boat from Disney Studios to the Boardwalk area and you can walk to Epcot.
In January I hopped from park to park without going to my resort and it worked out fine.

You can not go from a park to DTD or vice versa. There are different options. There are buses, plus the monorail between MK and EC,nd there is a boat between DHS and EC, World Showcase.

My brother and his fiancee wanted to go to PI after EC closed and it would've taken over an hour by bus to a resort the wait for bus to DTD. A bus employee told him to try a cab, and he got there for $10.
