How to travel about California from DL??

I'm not sure if this is the best spot to post this, but I'm going to be meeting my dad at disneyland in a few months and he wants to see more of California not just DL. He scares easily when he drives so I'm not sure renting a car is the best idea for him. Does anybody know if there are paid tours that will take you from Anaheim to the walk of fame and all the touristy california spots? Or any other ideas how to get him to see the LA area without breaking the bank.

AnaheimTours.com will pick him up at his motel, and he can tour basically all day.

If you're interested in traveling beyond LA, Amtrak can get you to either Santa Barbara or San Diego on the Pacific Surfliner. It's slow, but so is LA traffic! Santa Barbara offers special discounts for the train riders. San Diego might be harder to get around without a car.
