I'm doing four Halfs this season starting with Wine and Dine. This is how they run:

Wine and Dine
Four weeks
Half
Four weeks
Half
Six weeks
Half

I do two short weekday runs and one long Sunday run. Any idea how to handle the long runs during the breaks?

I would just repeat those weeks in the training for the first half. No real training after the first one, but just maintenance. I've had similar breaks between and just did fallbacks of 7-10 miles for the long runs and regular weekday runs.

I would train them

Week 1 - 4-6 miles (let your body be your guide and fall back if you need recovery time
Week 2 - 8-9 miles
Week 3 - 6 miles
Week 4 9 miles
Race

Alternate between 6 and 9 miles and you should be fine

Any answer is going to be guessing. What is your current level of fitness, how many miles are you currently doing on your short and long runs, is there a particular race you are targeting as an "A" race for your best performance?

I do two 3 mile runs and two days of "other" cardio plus the long run each week. My long runs are 5 miles in the off season, but I'm up to 9-10 right now. I'm liking the 6/9/6/9 plan. If I had to pick, I'm hoping to PR on the second Half. DH will be running that one with me and he pushes me harder than I push myself. ;) Should I do anything different before that race? Thanks for all the advice!
