How to tour with EMH?

I am really confused as I am reading some posts that state to stay away from EMH parks. I plan on and taking advantage of this perk. What are some things I should know?

1. Morning EMH, get there early and you can get a lot done, but it has to be at EMH rope drop.
2. Evening EMH, gets busy. Ride ride during the first parade if there are two, then go to second parade.
3. If wanting to avoid EMH crowds, the general rule of thumb is to go to the park that had EMH the day before, the day after is usually very low crowds.

We are an a.m. EMH family. You will get more done in the first 2 hours than you will in the next 5 hours. You may be able to even ride your favorite back to back with little or no wait!

Since we are early risers, we retire early too!

I am not a morning person, so I no longer do morning EMH. However I AM a night owl and I never miss evening EMH. The first hour is usually busy since it's a lot of people leaving that are not resort guests and people with kids attempting to get a little more time in before going to bed with them. The second hour, the families with kids are starting to dwindle down. The smaller rides are little to no waits. That last hour... it's usually like a ghost town. Walk on to mostly any ride.

Note that crowd sizes also depend on the time of year and how late the EMH is running. If it's a really early park close and the EMH runs like 7-10 there will be more people there then if it was an 11 close with EMH running 11-1am.

I too an a night owl and we do late EMH as much as possible for our trips. It is a great perk for staying on site and I want to take advantage of it. One tip I have is gather some fastpasses during the day and use them when EMH starts, then as the evening goes on the crowds thin and you should have short waits. But again, it depends on when you go. We always go during off peak times so the waits aren't bad anyway. Good Luck! And I say take advantage of those EMH!

Last trip I closed down each park and park hopped to use EME on Sunday. In the past I usually did EMH any time that park was the first or last to close; on commando days I would hop as needed to spend max. # of hours in the parks! :rotfl: However, things were a bit more leisurely this last time around since I had a number of trips sched. in close proximity to each other. Plus, I am very much more an evening person than morning one so EMM aren't my fav!

That said, I've found that the first hour or so of EME is still fairly crowded, but the end of it and EMM tend to be much better on crowds.

We just did late EMH Sunday at MK and tonight at DS....they were almost empty. :confused3 As stated earlier, it depends on the time of year. Also, DS, most everything was closed for EMH.

All depends if you wanna go early morning or stay after hours :) Take advantage of it, thats why Disney has them.

We LOVE the eMH, especially in the morning. Get there when they open and you can have very short lines. We get more done in the first two hours than other people can do in a day!!!

With younger kids, the night hours don't work for us. I have heard that the teens love it.. . .
