How to tell the kids about a trip

Does anyone have any good ideas for telling their kids about a trip to Disney? Last year we made a "scavenger hunt" for our 2 sons, 7 and 5. We gave them a card that said "Go look on your bed" and then they would find another card that told them to go look somewhere else. After about 10 stops throughout the house, the last card told them to go to the computer where we had a message saying We are going to Disney in 21 days. The kids liked it and after about 20 seconds of excitement, they said "Can we do another scavenger hunt". Just wanted to know if someone had any cool ideas.

We always announce that we are leaving for Disney by having Tinkerbell "come to" our house. She leaves a pixie dust trail, a letter, and a basket of goodies for DD. DD generally knows that we go to Disney yearly but we never tell her the day so that we don't have to deal with the sleepless nights!
