How to take videos of VMK?

Hey all. Sorry if this has been asked many times before, but I was wondering how some of you talented people manage to take videos of VMK, rather than just screen shots?

Do you want sound of VMK, also?

If so, you have to set your default sound recording device to Stereo Mix
