How To Store Info In CDMA Phone?

We got DD an LG Rumor for Christmas through Kajeet, which is CDMA (no sim card), and we can't get the contact list to work. we enter contacts according to the manual instructions, but when you go back to the main screen and type in the first 2-3 numbers and tell it to find, it says the contact list is empty. Customer service for the wireless company is closed today. Anyone have an idea what's going on with this crazy thing?

I think I had this problem when I got my LG Xenon. What I *vaguely* remember doing was turning off the phone, pulling out the battery, putting it back in. It then reset.

If this doesn't work, google your problem. Chances are this is common and you will find your fix. That's how we found ours.

thanks the battery trick didn't work, and unfortunately, my particular problem doesn't seem to be found by google, although there are lots of other problems listed, lol.

i am SO utterly frustrated with this thing! i'm taking it to my aunt's later and hopefully, my cousin will be able to figure out what's wrong with it. if not, i'll be on the phone to customer service first thing in the morning to get some help!

I hope you get it to work.

It's been about 6 months since we got our Xenon's and both my son and I had issues with our contact list being memorized when we first started. Where I'm unclear is what we did to fix it so I may have told you incorrectly. I happened to find the fix on the internet but sometimes it's not easy finding that stuff. I'm sure they will be able to help you. Sometimes the people at the store are more helpful then the phone support.

i took it to my aunt's house-my cousin had no luck with it, but my brother checked it out when he got there and he realized there was no sim card in it. i came home, checked the box it came in-no sim card. i did a google search and found out kajeet phones don't use sim cards, because they're on a CDMA network, so i'm not sure where that leaves me. i've never had a phone without a sim card.
