How to stop a thumb sucker?!

DH's niece sucked her fingers.....don't know if she still does or not?! Hmm...I'll have to email sil on that one.

DS told me today that all I need to do is put tape on his thumb and he'll stop. Poor thing. He wants to stop but it is automatic.
