How to Spot a Nerd.

Just wondering... is this something that normal adults think about? Nerds? Seriously? I don't think I've called someone a nerd since junior high... maybe high school. And wouldn't you know, those nerds are some of the coolest, smartest people around. I married one.

Oh, and if wearing Disney clothing qualifies you.. then I'm guessing the vast majority of this board are nerds.

I need to do something to relieve all the pressure that comes with being a rocket scientist, don't I? Sheesh.

My uncle works for NASA. He has a T-Shirt that says "Call me when it actually DOES take a rocket scientist"

He's a nerd. But, a really smart and rich one.

Yes they are. Considering I have several Mickey Mouse T-shirts, Have Starwars memorabia and Roleplaying systems, 3 of the replica swords from Lord of the Rings hanging on my livingroom wall, and am waiting impatiently for the last half of the final season of Avatar: the Last Airbender to air, I don't see this thread as bashing.

Only 404 days till I get back to WDW!!

My most nerdy things are probably my Star Wars collector plates and my Buffy the Vampire Slayer 12" figures. Oh, and my DH, who is now into 1st Century Roman Army Re-enacting

DH and I are both a little nerdy (although he is the bigger nerd...see my tag). He's a software programmer with a degree in nuclear physics, he collects comic books, loves Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, and we are both Disney nuts. I like Star Trek and LOTR, and I have a music degree and love classical music (early sacred music is my favorite!). And oh yeah, we watch anime.
