How to spot a fello DISer

No one ever asked me if I was a disser and I had lime green on every day...not because I'm a disser, it is just how the park clothes worked out. I looked for people who might be and I actually suspect someone on the plane to DL might have been, but I never asked. At that altitude, it is best not to have your seat mate think you're crazy. pirate:

Well, there must be a TON of DISers near the No Hollywood Home Depot! I went there last night and wouldn't you know, they had all of the other mickey head paint chips except for the lime green ones. I am on a mission to find the lime green ones :yay:

We should invent something where we wiggle our thumbs, hop on one foot, twirl around and do a little dance. LOL! J/K. :rotfl: That would be fun though! :teeth:

WOW!!! That's even worse than the lengths we were all ready to go through to attract the TF a few short weeks ago!!!

Of course, I'll be happy to learn the secret fruitcake dance once it is perfected!!! :rotfl:

BTW---I've had no luck finding lime green DISers at DL. It has been way more common for me to see them at WDW. Of course, no matter what coast we are on, DH and I usually run into students!!!! :teacher:

Just remembered I bought a dis green jacket the day after Thanksgiving. :thumbsup2 I will be wearing that as well. :3dglasses

I always wonder if there are other Dissers around when I am at DL. The other day I was at a store with DH and DSS(12). We saw someone do the Focker watching you thing. I cracked up. DH asked what was sooo funny. I rambled on about Disboards and having a signal to identify each other. :sad2: This was DHs response. :teeth: I wish I was going to DL next month. :sad1:

This is too funny. I was going to start a thread on this same subject about the lime green Mickeys. I went to WDW for the first time last Christmas, and from the DIS found out about them. So much to my family's grief, I got a bunch of Mickey heads from Home Depot and made a bunch of decorations for our room at the resort. I made a wreath with red, green and lime green heads on it to hang on the outside door, and then I brought some garland with lights to hang in the window with the Mickey heads hanging down from it. You can imagine what my husband and children were thinking...and they're all grown!!! :rotfl: Mom, you're nuts!! I even made special tiny Disney ornaments for a little Christmas Tree I shoved into my suitcase also. For running around the park I had a lime green Mickey head hooked to my purse, but I only saw one person the whole time with one too. But you know what?? I had a alot of fun doing all of that, and it made our Christmas that much more special! What I'm kind of curious about is, do people decorate their rooms here in California?? I won't be at DL over Christmas Day, but I am still wondering.
PS If you are wondering about the right color of lime green, it is called "Alien Green."
PPSS I wonder why the DIS doesn't have a lime green Mickey smilie?? :confused3

pix, I just wanted to say that I love your MHPC designs! It didn't occur to me to decorate it, only to slap it onto something with my Username. Where did you get the teeny tiny crown, though? So cute!

You've given me all kinds of ideas for scrapbooking now, thanks! :sunny:

Thanks! :goodvibes The tiny crown was from a ballerina sticker set. I used Jolee's scrapbook stickers and I stuck them on the mickey head and laminated it. I bought a small pack of self-laminating sheets from Walmart. What also works well is using the rub-on transfers you can purchase for scrapbooks. I did that for another mickey head too and it looks pretty cool! :)
