How to spend six days?

We will be at CBR from June 6th-13th and have park hopper passses for six days. We will not be going to parks on arrival or departure days. Our son is 7.5 and this is a surprise trip for him. He LOVES Toy Story, Pixar in general, and animals. How would your organize your park passes? How many days should we spend at each park and what order would you do them in? I know that I want to spend the first day at MK, but I am not sure afterwards. Pre-Covid, I wouldn't be so concerned on the planning (minus ADRs), but I want to make sure that I have the park pass reservations and ADRs situations as soon as possible. Thank you!

I’d do two days at DHS since he loves toy story, 2 days at MK since it has so many attractions and is a more kid centered park, and one at Epcot and AK. You said he likes animals, but I think right now AK can be done in a day.

I would plan 2 MK days, schedule 2 HS studios days, and 1 of each of the others. I, personally, would do MK, HS, AK, Epcot, MK, HS. If you get everything done in HS on your first HS day and want to change that last one to another AK since he loves animals, you probably could. HS is the hardest one to get park passes to so I would schedule 2 and change later if you need/want to.

We aren't big hoppers as far as planning to hop. Typically we hop if we finish everything and aren't feeling it anymore, or if the park we are in feels particularly crowded, so I'm not a lot of help on how to plan your hopping.

You have Mon-Sat for park days, I would try to avoid HS on a Saturday just because weekends are reportedly busier and not Epcot either as weekends tend to be adult visitors for festivals. Epcot halfway through as suggested above looks great because the park opens later and you may appreciate a relaxing start to your day at that point. I would have a morning at AK and a visit at dusk (same day or hop), best times for animals at safari. With your son age 7.5, I would plan on afternoon rests and pool breaks, return to parks for dinner refreshed. I agree with 2 at MK and 2 at HS.

What a fun trip! I would firm up the park days and book the reservations soon. I say that as the attendance calendar shows all green now but the closer you get to the end of the school year the more parks will fill up.

This is how I would plan my days out assuming you are arriving on the 6th ( and you won't be doing a park that day )

June 7 - Hollywood Studios
June 8 - Magic Kingdom
June 9 - Animal Kingdom
June 10 - Epcot
June 11 - Hollywood Studios
June 12 - Magic Kingdom

( We always like to close out the trip at Magic Kingdom )
