Anyone care to give me his/her opinion on how to plan my August trip? DH and I will arrive ok 8/24 and go to MNSSHP that night. We want to use FP for Toy Story Land and Flight of Passage. But we don’t want to do much more in HS or AK. We have 2 day park hoppers. Do you all think this will work? (We have always driven to the parks but this time we are flying to WDW and will have to depend on Disney transportation so I am not sure how that will play out. Also, we aren’t doing any adr so we can be free to change our minds.)
We want to rope drop HS studios on 8/25 at 7am for EMH. The hope is that we can walk on Toy Story Mania without too much of a wait. (We typically are the first in line at rope drop but again with riding the bus...?) We plan to do whatever else we want to do until around 10am and then hop to AK and plan FP there for FoP and anything else we like. Then we will plan to get additonal FP after we use the AK ones.
We will either go to Epcot or MK for the additonal FP.
On 8/26 we plan to open either MK or EP and then hop to HS where we will FP one of the Toy Story rides and whatever else we choose.
Does this sound crazy? Should we just use HS FP on 8/25 when we open the park and then open either MK or EP and hop to AK on 8/26 instead? We don’t want to make FP too early where lines would still be lower. We are aware that popular attractions have lines that are long even at opening but we would rather FP those later and do the less popular with a 10 minute or 20 minute wait instead of a 45 minute wait later on.
We depart in 8/27 too early for another park day.
What are your thoughts? Any help and all opinions are appreciated. I hope I don’t miss our car too much! TIA
