I went to the balcony and almost busted into tears.

This is the view we had from our "garden view" room. And the music, that was the electric water pageant, which I had completly forgotten about. Talk about a welcome !!!!!

That is wonderful!! I probably would have started crying.

The CM minding the checkin desk at 'Ohana didn't laugh us off, but he did tell us that getting a table that night without a reservation was not going to happen. So we tried Kona instead.

We have never been to Kona, I want to try it sometime. Bill wants to go to 'Ohana every trip, we love the Poly.

I called for our luggage and took some pics while waiting for it. Watcha think of our room ?

Beautiful room, you stayed at Bill's dream resort.

The vegetation at the Poly is just unbelievable, especially in summer.

I gather up what little courage I have and start walking to ToT, all the while wondering who'll get custody of my giant purple bear. Grumpy can get all my Coach and Dooneys. Jessi can get... hmm nevermind.

That totally cracked me up.

We can hear people screaming already. It's getting close. I'm already gasping for air.

"I hope there isn't too much of a wait ! If it's more than 20mns, forget it. It would make us late for Chef Mickey's."

Yeah right. It's 8.30 and our ADR is after 11.

Oh great. Wait time : 10mns.

I have never even been close to this attraction. I am a very big girl, the thought of me free falling scares me .

The line goes on so fast. So fast. We're now in the lobby, which is creepily adorable.

"Creepily adorable", that is a very good description.

Grumpy & I hold each other's hands, and we step into the Library...

Looks like we could meet on the 24th or 25th ! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, there's a very good chance they won't let me take time off that soon. Hopefully I'll find out today so keep your fingers and toes crossed!

Great update Marina! Love your room at the Poly! Kona sounds yummy - I will be trying it in October as well (only I will be leaving on the 14th, so no MFC meet for me ). Looking forward to hearing about your ride on the ToT! You did get on, right?

Love your Poly pictures - makes me want to give it a try! I haven't stayed there since I was a kid. I LOVE the electrical water pageant and would have been in tears also! Can't wait to hear about your experience on ToT.

I LOVE your update! Your room at the Poly looks fabulous! Now you have me excited because we are staying there in less than a month (for part of our stay anyway) and had not been there since they redid the rooms. I keep hearing that TSM is not that great...that's sad. Can't wait to hear about your ToT adventure!

I stayed at the Poly in March. Isn't it fabulous? It is probably my favorite resort so far. Of course, I want to try them all.

Wooohoooo, an update! A wonderful update! I can't go on ToT, I'm sure it would make me hurl LOL What a gorgeous room for you and your mom! I'm so glad your trip is going well - you soooooooooooo deserve the best after the last trip!

We'll be at ASSp Oct. 16-25 - count me in on the MFC! My dh and I love France (we'd have moved there a few years ago, but the immigration process is NASTY!). It would be nice to have a chance to chat about your lovely country
