How to ride Main St vehicles

Our family would love a carriage ride down Main St. How do you go about riding a Main St. vehicle? Is there a line, a reservation, or are you chosen?

The vehicles make one way trips along Main Street. You can catch them either at the curb in front of the train station or the castle. At either place there are separate sign posts that show which vehicle (e.g. fire truck, horse drawn trolley, old time car)that stops at that particular location. You just line up by the post for the vehicle you want to ride. The vehicles are out mostly in the morning.

There really is no way to know which Vehicles wil be out on any given day.

Just to add to what PF has said, or rather to emphasize it, do this first thing in the morning. As the parks get busier, the vehicles don't run because of all the pedestrian traffic on Main Street.

Thank you so much for this info! This is something that we have never taken the time to do, but with the theme of this trip being "spontaneous" maybe it will happen, and now I have the info to make it!!
