How To Remember Annual Pass Discount?

I frequently forget to ask for my discount when I'm at Disney - sometimes for merch - but especially when I'm dining. So far I missed out on the discount at Yachtsman twice and D-Luxe Burger just off the top of my head. In those instances I paid with a gift card.

How do you remember to ask for the discount? Is there an easy, effortless way for me to make sure it's applied?

Maybe put a sticky note on your gift card or credit card that you are using? I keep a sticky note on our gift card so I can keep updating the amount that is on it.

I keep my AP next to my gift card in a mini ID carrier I got at Disney. Holds my ID on one side, 4 cards on the other. They’re themed to all sorts of Disney stuff. I see them in the main shops in the parks.

When I’m on my MB for charging it’s harder to remember but over time I got better and now I rarely miss it (well I’m about 50/50 at Joffrey’s first thing in the morning- before I’ve had my coffee so I don’t beat myself up over forgetting that one).

For me, it's become second nature to ask if there's either an AP or DVC discount. Since I no longer have physical cards for either, I have them downloaded to my Apple Wallet and open ready to show when I ask.

This is why it's happening. ...Because I never use physical gift cards. I screenshot the UPC from purchasing at Target online and use Photos app. Maybe if I add both the gift card and my AP to my ApplePay wallet it will be a prompt for me because I'll see both. Is that what you mean?

I’m definitely getting better! I just seem to forget the most expensive ones. SMH. Right after De-Luxe rang me up and I paid I said “Oops I forgot to tell you I’m AP” (they had 20% off for AP special) and he said he couldn’t adjust it. I suppose with practice I’ll get there.

Maybe screen shot your Magic Mobile AP and use it as your Lock Screen? Ugly but you’ll see it every time you open the phone.
