How to reach the Parc from Orlando?

First of all, sorry for my english!! I'm from Barcelona and I do not speak a good english.

I would like to know if there some kind of public transport that reachs you from the city of Orlando to the Park and what kind of transport it is.

I've heard about the monorail but on the web I've seen that the monorail just runs within the park therm.

There's any kind of railway transport from Orlando to the park?? If it doesn't exist, somebody knows if it is planed??

There is not a monorail from the airport to the parks. You would have to either rent a car, take a taxi, take a bus, or if you are staying at Disney, take the Magical Express (which is also a bus)

First, welcome to the DIS!

Are you trying to get from the airport to Disney World, or from the City of Orlando to Disney World?

The monorail only runs internally in Disney World. There is no light rail that runs to Disney World. You would have to take a bus, the web site is www.golynx.com It would require at least one transfer. There is no monorail expansion planned. There is a light rail expansion planned, but I do'nt believe it will go to Disney World for many years to come.

If you are coming from the airport, which is ten miles or so from downtown Orlando, you can take a free bus called Magical Express that can be booked in advance through Disney.

Did you see that there is a section on these boards, Disney en Espanol? There are a lot of people with a lot of knowledge about Disney and the area that might be able to help you with a lot of advice--in Spanish!

In fact, I want to come to Disney Wolrd, who doesn't wants it!? But not now!

The purpose of the post was to know this NEW PROJECT of the light railway! I'm doing an study about how to reach "port aventura" in a ligth Railway. Port Aventura is a theme park from Catalonia. Visit the web page if you want (I can't post it). I've heard about a light railway in disney world so I thoug about ask it in this forum.

Anybody has some information about this project? there's any web page?
