That's going to be tough if your printer does not like it. Are you using the Avery ones? One page at a time? Those are the ones I've used in an HP inkjet. I tried a different brand because it had 1 extra sheet for the same price, but it did not work. So I ended up just printing on regular paper and glueing it to the magnet paper.
You could try "helping" the sheet into the printer by pushing on it a little bit.
I thought the magnetic paper was absurdly expensive so I used some heavyweight brochure paper then I laminated them at Staples and then used some self adhesive business card magnets (cut up a bit) on the backs. Good luck.
(PS) We finally gave up on our old HP printer 'cuz it jerked with us everytime we changed the ink cartridges. Got a Canon from Costco that we've been very happy with.
Sorry it is not working. Might want to try posting in the "Creative Community" forum. Also, when trying different things its best to just print a page with a small letter in a corner so you don't ruin an entire page if it gets stuck in the middle. Good luck.

I've done the same except I used all the extra magnets on our fridge door. Seems like we had tons of magnets from the pizza place, the plumber, etc. I just glued them to the brochure paper.

I bought a box of the business card magnets 'cuz I was also making frig. magnets as one of my FE gifts...figured better use 'em up!! It was a bonus that they were peel & stick so no glueing!
